Image Editing
Small Image Enlarged: Sometimes you only have a small image and need to use it at a larger size. Generally that will impact image quality negatively. This image dimension was originally 290px x 174px. For this page, it needed to be 725px x 435px. Notice the quality of the ORIGINAL image. The CORRECTED image is the same enlarged image after processing for detail!
Product detail matters: Product image quality is essential to an online catalog. While the ORIGINAL image can be used to sell this item, notice how much better the CORRECTED image looks. The CORRECTED image was generated with special filters to pull out as much detail as possible.
Slightly Out of focus: The ORIGINAL landscape looks fairly good. It is slightly out of focus but overall usable. Notice the small details in the CORRECTED image such as the treeline on the hills, the clouds, the grass in the foreground and the shadows on the dirt path. Image quality improvement can be subtle and yet valuable to the image itself.
Motion bur: This image captures the bird mid flight and motion blur looks to be minimal. Even so, dditional details can be brought out that were not seen before.
Image noise: Images shot at a high ISO can include noise that effect visual quality. This noise can be removed, leaving the image clean and visually pleasing.
